Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has once again reiterated the offer that if the militants surrender their weapons, accept the writ of the state and guarantee living with peace in future then they are ready to hold negotiations with them for the sake of the establishment of peace and bright future of Pakhtuns.
Addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone of the constructions of Girls Degree College in Amankhot (Rustam) and Shahbaz Garhi-Rustam in district Mardan on Saturday, he said that under the resources received in head of net profit on hydropower generation, National Finance Commission (NFC) Award and 18th Constitutional Amendment are being spent on the initiating record development schemes across the province.
Parliamentary leader of PPP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Abdul Akbar Khan, district general secretary ANP Imran Mandray and president ANP PK-29. Gul Hameed Khan was also addressed the public meeting while Haji Ahmad Khan Bahadar MPA, president ANP district Swabi Haji Rehmanullah and Javed Yusufzai were also present on the occasion.
The chief minister said that the people who deprived Mardan of its due right have no right to raise objection on granting of rights to the district. He said that if those people are not happy with it then they have no right to do politics in Mardan. He said that they have gave true shape to right over the resources of the province, saying the extra resources achieved for the province are being spent on the progress and development of the province.
Ameer Haider Khan Hoti said that they enforced Shariah Nizam Adl Regulations as per aspirations of the people of Malakand Division and we were of the view that the armed men will put their weapons to play role in the progress and development of the country, but they attacked district Buner and if we have closed eyes on them then the anarchy would have griped the whole province. He said that such act would have enable us to openly hold public meetings and will protect ourselves, but they while following the foot prints of their leaders sacrificed their legislators and workers and instead of benefiting themselves they stood with the nation.
The chief minister said that new power generating projects are being initiated in the province, saying that in December this year, he will inaugurate work Lawi (Chitral) and Matlitan power projects. He said that a company is being established for the exploration of the vast resources of oil and gas in the province. He said that this year the expected income of the province from oil and gas to the province is Rs 16 billion, which will be spent on initiating projects for the progress and development of the people.
