Police in Swat have arrested a dacoit gang that used to carryout their robberies in forces' uniform. SP Investigation, Swat, Sarbuland Khan told newsmen on Saturday that four dacoits wearing uniform of the forces had barged into the house of Mian Said Ali at midnight in Chuprial area of tehsil Matta and looted cash, gold, cell phones and other valuables on gunpoint.
Police high-ups had taken strong notice of the burglary and a team under the headship of DSP Matta, Sanobar Khan was constituted to arrest the involved culprits. The team succeeded in arresting the four-man gang and recovered all the stolen valuables from their possession.
The arrested dacoits were identified as ring-leader Muhammad Ali, son of Qalandar, Essa Khan, son of Gul Farosh, Raza Khan and Rasool Khan, both sons Zarghoon. All the arrested dacoits belonged to Charbagh Police have also recovered security uniforms they used during committing robberies.
