The Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Muhammad Abbas said on Tuesday the pension cases would be decided in a way that the pensioners could get benefits on the very next day of their retirement. While presiding over a meeting regarding Human Rights cases, Raja Muhammad Abbas directed all the administrative secretaries and heads of the departments to deal with the pension cases in a manner that the retired employees could avail benefits on the very next day of their retirement from service.
He advised the Secretary Service to communicate these instructions to all concerned departments and institutions for implementation and emphasising that the documentation must have been completed six month prior to date of the retirement. He also advised the concerned departments to submit reports on Human Rights cases till November 8. He ordered the meetings for Human Rights case would be convened on regular basis on every Tuesday.
The Chief Secretary also called reports from Secretaries of Education, BOR and DCO, CDGK regarding action against land grabbing and encroachment in compliance of the Supreme Court orders within two days, while SBCA has also been asked to furnish proceeding status to this effect in couple of days. The meeting was attended by Secretaries of Service and Agriculture Department while the Secretary Implementation has been appointed as focal person for Human Rights cases.
