Revenue officials: ACE detects bogus entries of over 128 acres of land

Sindh Anti-corruption Establishment (ACE) has detected bogus entries of 186-29 acres land worth millions of rupees in record of rights by the Revenue officers of District Matiari, Business Recorder learnt on Wednesday.
On the complaint of a local person, a team of ACE probed the matter which proved that Deputy District Officer Revenue (DDO-R) Aqeel Ahmed Abro, Mukhtiarkar Rasheed Kaka, Mehdi Shah ex-supervising Tapedar, Atta Shah Supervising Tapedar, Ilahi Bux Bhayo Tapedar, Rasool Bux ex Tapedar, and others.
All of Taluka Hala of district Matiari, had committed fraud and made bogus entries in the record of rights in the name of Mohammad Ilyas Rajput on the basis of Parchi Khatoni and manipulated and managed total 186-29 acres land of different record holders (Khatedars) in Deh Sekhani Tapa Bhit Shah, sources said. A letter, No-EW (98) H/2010, issued by former Director ACE Ganhwar Laghari, available with Business Recorder, said that the matter was taken up on an application of Sikandar Samon r/o Village Sikhar Taluka and district Matiari.
The applicant had alleged that his father, late Allahbachayo, and his two sisters Mst Shahzadi and Mst Latifan are the Khatedars of agriculture land Deh Shekhani Tapa Bhit Shah Taluka Hala district Matiari of S.No 444/3,4, 445/3,4,5, 446/45, 447/4,5, 455/1,4 457/1,4, total area 90-7 acres for 65 years, the letter said.
Despite knowing all facts and reality, a group of cheaters in Revenue Department had committed fraud and made bogus entries in the record of rights in the name of Muhammad Ilyas Rajput on the basis of bogus parchi khatoni and manipulated and managed total 186-29 acres land of different Khatedars in Deh Sekhani Tapa Bhit Shah in this way land 67-7 acres shown in the name of complainant party which bogus as inquired from District officer revenue Hyderabad.
The team of persons involved in this fraud comprised DDO-R Taluka Hala Aqeel Ahmed Abro, Mukhtiarkar Rasheed Kaka Taluka Hala, Mehdi Shah ex supervising Tapedar, Atta Shah Supervising Tapedar, Ilahi Bux Bhayo Tapedar, Rasool Bux ex Tapedar, Mohammad Ilyas private person and others, the letter added.
The letter sought permission from former Chairman of ACE Ramzan Channa for placing the matter before the Anti-corruption Committee-1 (ACC-1). Sources said that former Chairman of ACE had granted permission in this regard and the matter has been placed in ACC-1 for more action against the involved officials of Revenue department. According to a local person of Hala, the worth of bogus entries of agriculture land is in millions of rupees. Sources said that the meeting of ACC-I would be called very soon and the fate of involved officers would be decided in said meeting.
