It has been almost five years since Bollywood stars Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor debuted in the Indian movie industry together with their movie ‘Ishaqzaade’, and Pari has now revealed that she has undying love for her co-star.
Although Parineeti’s first movie was Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, but her role in the movie was not of a leading lady. The ‘Golmaal Again’ actress technically debuted as a heroine opposite Arjun in ‘Ishaqzaade’.
Arjun and Parineeti not on speaking terms for strange reason
The on-screen couple will now seen together not in one but two movies ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and in an Akshay Kumar movie sequel ‘Namastey Canada’.
Recently, the actress opened up about her equation with her first love interest on screen with DNA India and Pari said, “Arjun is lucky. He gets to work with me in two back-to-back films again.”
“My relationship with Arjun is such that I can kick him and tell him, ‘Just shut up and behave yourself’. He can do the same with me as well. That’s because we share a very special bond,” she added.
Parineeti further said that her friendship with Arjun started at a vulnerable time in both their lives. “Both of us bonded at a very vulnerable time in our lives. His mom was ill when 'Ishaqzaade' was coming out and I wasn’t even an actor by then because 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' had not released when we were shooting that film.”
“If anybody says anything negative about him, I’m there in the front row, fighting for him and defending him. I can even kill for him. I can’t hear anyone saying anything bad about Arjun because I have this undying love for Arjun,” she added.
