NPO international productivity congress tomorrow

In order to attract foreign investment and encourage local entrepreneurs, National Productivity Organisation (NPO) is hosting an International Productivity Congress in collaboration with Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) on November 17 and 18, 2011.
It would mark the beginning of an important episode in productivity movement where renowned achievers from different fields of life will be gathering to share their success stories. On this occasion, Ryuichiro Yamazaki, Secretary General APO-Japan, John Heap, President World Federation of Productivity Sciences (WCPS) and Director NPC, and Mike Dillon Vice President, ACPS will be present there to grace the event.
The productivity congress will announce fellowships for World Federation of Productivity Sciences (52 countries) and NPO would extend the opportunity to nominate any practitioner from the participant organisation to be part of the list as a successful achiever and its future contributor. On the event of IPC 2011, NPO will renew its pledge for ensuring productivity movement for Pakistan and will initiate interventions to overcome the economic challenges. Various international linkages will be capitalised and sharing of information will take place.
IPC 2011, a joint initiative of NPO and APO, will be the first of its kind in Pakistan, the main focus of the productivity congress will be sharing and dissemination of successful productivity success stories of the high achievers adding value for promoting local industry, businesses, and organisations at local as well as international level.
Khawaja Muhammad Yousuf, CEO-NPO said the event will help Professionals to get familiarity with successful productivity approaches and frameworks for improvement in respective sectors to able to contribute towards overall well-being and economic growth of a nation.
For the past five decades "productivity movement" has been the prime objective of the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) through its 20 member countries. Pakistan's biggest industrial challenge today is to inculcate catalysts at vital industrial points that leaves long lasting effect on overall industrial and corporate productivity. We are prone to constantly changing world that is subject to fierce competition and the only way to survive is to mobilise our existing resources and create synergy through events like International Productivity Congress (IPC) 2011.
The IPC 2011 marks an example of one of those initiatives that becomes an instrumental in creating productivity, quality innovative culture at large. The idea of IPC 2011 is to build new connections and strengthen each other's network beyond borders so that a mechanism of synergy flourishes within every industry leading to a fortification of public private partnerships through tripartite relationship so that breakthroughs in productivity quality improvements can be achieved.-PR
