Loadshedding span increases in Karachi

Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has once again increased the durations of load shedding in residential and commercial areas on the pretext of oil and gas shortage. It should be mentioned here that six to ten hours of load shedding are being carried out in different city areas.
Citizens complained that power outages span surged to ten hours in different areas including Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg and Nazimabad. Meantime, the power supply to PMTs was disconnected in some areas of Korangi, Landhi, Lyari, Lines Area, Orangi Town, Metrovile and Qasba Colony on non-payment of electricity bills or power thefts.
