Children from various educational institutions of twin cities on Wednesday presented colourful cultural show to mark the birth anniversary of National Poet, Allama Muhammed Iqbal. Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in connection with Iqbal Day celebrations organised the show to highlight the messages, thoughts and ideology of Allama Iqbal.
Children of different age groups presented skits and tableaus based on various stories portraying the messages of Allama Iqbal for correction of the society. Attired in vibrant costumes, they enthralled the audience with national songs and presentation of verses from the poetry of Allama Iqbal. Talking to APP, Director General PNCA, Tauqeer Nasir said that PNCA celebrates all the national days with cultural and art programmes and involve the young talent to create awareness among the young generation about the importance of historical days.
