17 Nov, 2011

Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch has expressed his deep concern over the PAF training plane crash near Attock resulting in the martyrdom of pilot. He said the nation was deeply worried over the frequent crashes of the PAF planes and wanted to know the reasons behind these. He demanded a thorough enquiry into the incident and making public the enquiry report.
He said the PAF's technical wing must explain to the nation why the plane was made operational if its performance was not up to the mark. Liaqat Baloch said that if the training planes were not fit and had some technical problem, these should be grounded so that the lives of the trainee pilots were not exposed to risk because such tragic incidents on one hand, ended up in the martyrdom of the pilots and on the other hand, caused huge financial loss to the country besides creating serious doubts about the efficiency of the Pakistan Air Force.
