Conference on 'Financial Services & Consumer' on November 22

A one day conference on "Financial Services & Consumer" is being organised by Consumer Association of Pakistan (CAP) on 22 November 2011 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi to highlight the problems faced by the consumer in financial and banking services.
To address the conference, renowned economic expert Professor Dr Abdul Wahab (Sitar-e-Imtiaz), President of Muhammad All Jinnah University (MAJU), Dr Shahid Hassan Siddique, Chairman & Chief Executive, Research Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance, Zafar M. Sheikh, Director General National Savings Organisation Government of Pakistan, Azhar Ali Farooqui, Federal Insurance Ombudsman Government of Pakistan, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, renowned Islamic Scholar, Faysal Abdullah, CEO Halal Tamweel, Farooq Hasan, SEVP Commercial & Retail Banking Group National Bank of Pakistan, S. Khalid Tawab, Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig, Advisor to PM will share their views on the topic while, the conference will be chaired by S.M. Muneer (Sitar-e-Imtiaz), Vice Chairman Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) and Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh will be the chief guest.
The speakers will highlight the issues of consumer's awareness regarding financial services and how the reservations can be minimised presented to the common consumer in business and financial environment. The forum will discuss shared perspectives and maximising consumer power. Consumer Association of Pakistan (CAP) aims to bring together industry experts to lead a dialogue on topics related to interest of Pakistani consumers.-PR
