26 posts of judges in SHC still vacant

Only 14 judges are working in the Sindh High Court and 26 posts of judges are still lying vacant as the total sanctioned strength is forty in the High Court according to the constitution.
According to the list of the SHC, Justice Mushir Alam, Chief Justice of SHC, Justice Maqbool Baqar, Senior most judge after the Chief Justice, Justice Faisal Arab, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwa, Justice Ahmed Ali M. Sheikh, Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Imam Bux Baloch, Justice Nisar Muhammad Shaikh, Justice Muhammad Tasnim, Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Salman Hamid and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar are presently working in the high court. However, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Athar Saeed who have retired recently as judges of the SHC have been elevated as judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan last week.
