Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of Intermediate Science pre-medical group (Part-I) of annual examination 2011 on Tuesday. Total 14,911 candidates were registered in pre-medical part-I exams and out of them 14,677 appeared in the exam while 6,692 passed all six papers. 2,196 candidates passed five papers, 1,846 passed four papers, 1,769 passed three papers, 1,236 passed two papers while 743 candidates only managed to pass only one paper.
For regular students, the marks certificate for this examination will be issued to their respective institutions, within two weeks. BIEK also withheld the results 23 candidates. It directed all those candidates, whose results have been withheld for want of correct information/eligibility, should resolve these discrepancies immediately to enable the board to declare the results.
The number of unfair-means cases during the examination was 4. A judicious procedure is observed to decide all such cases. BIEK will provide fair opportunity of personal appearances, hearing in their defence all candidates involved in such cases. Results of all candidates involved in unfair-means are withheld till final decision gets approved by the board of governors.
The candidates, who have passed SSC from computer Science, were issued admit card provisionally with the condition that they will pass biology paper in forthcoming SSC Supplementary Examinations 2010. Till then their results will be withheld. The roll numbers of these candidates are: 300780, 301719, 303679, 304462, 304691, 305889, 306107, 307622, 308536, 308738, 309982, 310844, 310892, 314561, 317274, 317278, 318024 and 326101.
