26 Nov, 2011

President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mian Abrar Ahmed has expressed concerns over colossal production losses of billions of rupees per day due to ongoing 12-hours-long loadshedding in seven industrial zones of Karachi. He advised all the industrial concerns to discontinue payments to KESC and deposit their electricity bills in the form of pay order in the respective industrial town associations.
The KCCI president stated that it had already been decided unanimously in the recent joint press conference and protest demonstration at Karachi Press Club that if KESC did not restores electrify supply to all industrial zones, a joint action would be taken by KCCI and seven industrial town associations and payment of electricity bills would be discontinued.
