The Anti-Terrorism Court II (ATC-II) here on Saturday granted bail to the Chairman of Muhajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi, Afaq Ahmed, in the case of kidnapping of Jameel Ahmed for ransom in the Korangi police station limit. The case was registered in 2001. The bail has been granted against surety of Rs 0.5 million. On November 21 last, the ATC, headed by Judge Khalda Yaseen, after hearing arguments of both sides, had reserved judgement on the bail application.
