JUI demands immediate halt of forces' operation in Tehsil Bara

Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI), Khyber Agency has demanded of the government to immediate halt ongoing security forces' operation in Tehsil Bara, Khyber Agency and resumption of registration process for IDPs at their makeshift Jalozai camp.
Speaking at press conference here on Monday at Peshawar Press Club (PPC), JUI Naib Ameer, Khyber Agency, and Shamsuddin Afridi said that owing to the prolonged military action against the miscreants in the agency, the health and education facilities had totally closed down in the agency, whereas the business activities are also negligible. In the prevailing situation, he said that a large number of people fled from the area to take shelter in temporary IDPs facility, where they are also facing enormous difficulties in absence of essential food and other livelihood.
He expressed concern over the stoppage of registration process for Bara affected people at their makeshift and demanded for special relief package to compensate the affected persons to get food stuffs, and other utensils as per requirement of winter season. He informed that the affected people have been deprived of the facility Computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) in the wake of military operation and demanded the NADRA to depute special teams in Tirah to issue the new cards. After the closure of education institutions, he said that students are unable to continue study, therefore the government should provide education facility in education institutions from Primary to Intermediate level, he demanded.
