South Korean national assaulted

A South Korean national on Monday sustained bullet wounds near Banaras Bridge in the remits of Orangi Town police station. According to police, the victim, who was identified as Park, was a lecturer and hailed from South Korea. They said armed riders intercepted him when he was on his way to home after shopping from Saddar area.
They said the culprits, who tried to stop his car, sprayed his car with bullets when he refused to abide by the orders. Resultantly Park sustained bullet on his shoulder and was rushed to private hospital for treatment where doctors termed his condition out of danger.
Police said the victim was lecturer in a hospital namely Good Samar Tin situated in Pakistan Bazaar Orangi Area and added that 16 Korean national were associated with the said hospital. No case was registered till filing of this report.
