Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government trying to solve problems of people: Governor

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has said despite many challenges, the government is doing its best to resolve problems being faced by the people. Talking to a delegation of elders, lawyers, students and political and social workers, hailing from Upper Dir, the governor said that he in his personal capacity also had great respect for people of this far-flung and remote area of the province.
The delegation led by MPA Mohammad Anwar Khan Advocate met him at Governor's House, Peshawar on Saturday. The leading members of the delegation including Bakhtzada Khan, Haji Sher Bahadar and Ghafoor Khan apprised the governor of some of the difficulties, which the people of the area had been facing and requested him to help them in expediting pace of work on the ongoing development project especially for further improvement of educational facilities in the district.
He also paid rich tributes to the people of the district for their sacrifices and services for the country and the keen interest in the promotion of education and expressed the hope that they would continue their efforts for having a better future for their next generations and the country. He also thanked the members of the delegation for travelling all the way from Upper Dir to Peshawar for meeting him, despite poor weather conditions. Responding to the demands put forward by Mohammad Anwar Khan Advocate and other members of the delegation, the governor assured them to discuss their grievances with the respective authorities both at the provincial and federal level.
