Security arrangements beefed up in Faisalabad

Divisional administration has beefed up security arrangements in four district of Faisalabad Division to maintain law and order during Yaum-e-Ashur. Jhang city declared most sensitive area, where army troops did flag- march on Monday, while police sealed and blocked all roads connecting with the Imambargahs as well as the azadari procession ways.
In Chiniot, nine tazia processions will be taken out on the occasion of Ashoor-e-Muharram, out of the seven belongs to Sunni sect. In Faisalabad, all link roads with Clock Tower have been declared no entry zone, while all entry points on the processions' routes have been sealed, where 82 azadri processions being taking out and 119 majalis held during next 24 hours.
Main Azadri procession will be taken out today from Imam Bargah Hussainpura after Azan-e-Akbar and all procession to be gathered at Chowk Clock Tower. Aamer Waheed Inspector, spokesman of City Police Officer, informed that as many as four thousand police personnel have been deputed to ensure security of Majalis and processions in Faisalabad District, while CCTV Camras are installed to monitor the Ashura Muharram Azadari processions.
