Dr Firdous advised three-week rest

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan who was injured in a road accident during a visit to her constituency on Monday has been advised three weeks complete rest. The car she was travelling in, overturned after tyre burst and the minister's ankle got fractured in the accident. She was immediately taken to a local hospital where she was given first aid and her ankle was plastered.
Later, the minister was shifted to Combined Military Hospital Lahore where she was examined by Brigadier Dr Jafri who advised her three weeks complete rest. After tree weeks, she will undergo another medical examination.
