PEF to enter into partnership with 1,000 private schools

Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will enter into partnership with one thousand private schools in the province to educate deserving students through its Foundation Assisted schools (FAS) programme. For this purpose, pre Quality Assurance Test is underway in 36 districts of Punjab to determine the academic level of students of schools desirous of partnership with the PEF.
Chairman Punjab Education Foundation, Raja Anwar stated this while briefing the media men after inspection of the holding of pre-QAT in different parts of Lahore city on Friday. He said that 23 thousand students of 279 schools in the districts of Lahore, Sheikhupura and Gujranwalla took part in pre-QAT on Friday. Pre-QAT will be held in Kasur, Sialkot and Narowal on Saturday, he further told. Earlier, he inspected various schools in the city where pre-QAT was held and briefed the teachers about public private partnership model of the PEF.
