The Chief Secretary Sindh, Raja Muhammad Abbas took notice of complaints pertaining to street crimes, and directed the concerned officials to beef up the law and order situation to effectively curb such crimes and criminals, a statement issued here on Sunday said.
The Chief Secretary showed serious concern about the complaints of robbery, mobile and cash snatching, and other street crimes while directing the officials of Home Department and police to beef up law and order situation.
He stressed that the monitoring and patrolling by the law enforcement agencies be ensured in order to protect people on the streets.
Raja also directed that the protection of lives and property of the people should be ensured and no dereliction would be tolerated in this regard.
