Dr Hajira Rizvi, wife of Professor Dr Adibul Hasan Rizvi Director SIUT, expired on Tuesday, after a brief illness. Dr Hajira Rizvi completed her MBBS in 1961 and got married to Professor Adibul Hasan Rizvi in 1970. She was a private medical practitioner and actively involved in a number of social welfare and philanthropic activities. She has left behind one son and a daughter to mourn her death.
Namaz-e-Janaza for the departed soul will be offered at Imam Bargah Shah-e-Karbala, Rizvia Society Nazimabad on Thursday, December 15, at 04:00 pm. Her death has been mourned by the Faculty members and the entire Staff of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation who offered their condolences on the sad demise and prayed to God Almighty to give Professor Adib Rizvi and the members of the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and grant her an esteemed position in the heavenly abode!
