The Board of Governors of National Language Authority (NLA) will meet on December 19, to discuss issues regarding its constitutional status, establishment of production unit, software competition and proposal to launch FM radio. The matters related to Department of Urdu Informatics, availability of e-books and increase in salaries of its employees are also part of the meeting agenda.
Secretary, Ministry of National Heritage and Integration, Farid ullah and Finance Advisor of Cabinet Division, Muhammad Sarwar will also attend the meeting. Renowned literary figures and Members of Board including Aijaz Rahim, Dr Salma Shaheen, Dr Asif Farkhi, Dr Tariq Rehman, Dr Shah Muhammad and Roshika Ali will also present on the occasion.
