Threat to life: SHO Islampura told to record statement of Ayesha Malik

An Additional District and Sessions Judge here Saturday directed Station House Officer (SHO) Islampura to record version of Ayesha Malik and act in accordance with law on her application for registration of a case against the persons to whom she accused of hurling life threats.
The judge also directed the SHO to investigate the matter and file a report in the court. Ayesha Malik daughter of a PML-Q leader Ahmad Malik had filed a writ petition alleging that influential personalities in Punjab government including Ali Imran, former Sindh IG Rana Maqbool, additional IG investigation Zulfiqar Cheema, inspectors Aleem Dogar and Maqsood Butt, DSP Attique Sindhu and others were hurling life threats to her. The respondents were pressurising her to hold a press conference in their favour otherwise they will kill her and other family members.
