Relative of SHC Chief Justice recovered, two kidnappers arrested

Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) on Tuesday claimed to have recovered a relative of Chief Justice of Sindh High Court from Ghotki. According to police, the victim Mohammad Faizan, 17, s/o Ishtiaque, was kidnapped on September 17, 2011, within the remit of Aziz Bhatti police station when he went to purchase food stuff from a shop located nearby his house.
Thereafter his family having received a ransom demand of Rs 20 million for his release approached CPLC for assistance. Following the said complaint, a joint team of CPLC and AVCC headed by Ahmed Chinoy, Chief CPLC Sindh and SP AVCC Ghulam Subhani was formed for investigation.
The joint team with the help of technical details and surveillance of the identified area managed to locate the hideout of the kidnappers. The team on Tuesday raided the hideout of kidnappers at Ghotki, Kacha area and safely recovered Faizan and also arrested two kidnappers namely Juman Khan and Muhammad Faiz with TT Pistol and Kalashnikov. An FIR 554/11 has been lodged at Aziz Bhatti Police Station, Karachi. Further investigation is in progress.
