ANP to emerge as single largest political party: Aqil Shah

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports and Tourism, Syed Aqil Shah said that on the basis of performance, the Awami National Party (ANP) will emerge the single largest political party in next general elections in the province. He was addressing a public meeting in connections with inauguration of different development schemes here in Kotla Mohsin Khan. During the function, dozens of people from different political parties made announcement for joining ANP.
Those who addressed were included Arbab Wajid Ali Khan advocate, Arbab Hamidullah Khan, Said Zahir Advocate, Arbab Mohammad Farooq Jan and general secretary Nawab Ali Yusufzai. On this occasion, the presidents and general secretaries of ANP city district and different wards were also present.
Addressing the public meeting, the provincial minister said that due to the successful policies of ANP, the people of the province received identity, abolished terrorism and make the unanimous approval of the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award while under 18th Constitutional Amendment achieved provincial autonomy.
He said that development schemes of Rs 400 million have been completed in the Provincial Assembly Constituency PK-4 and vowed that no house will remain deprived of gas, electricity and clean drinking water. Terming the joining of the ANP workers from PK-4 in Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) as baseless, he said no worker of the party in the constituency had joined other political party.
