One killed in toy bomb blast; another school blown up

A boy was killed and his two brothers were injured in a toy bomb blast at Shpeno Garhi in suburbs of Peshawar early morning on Saturday. According to police statement the children were playing near their house where they found a toy. They brought it inside the building and it exploded suddenly with a big bang at about 8.30am.
The father of these children, Gul Shah said to Police in his statement that three of his children including Saddam Khan (12), Zakirullah (8) and Subhanullah (6) got serious injuries. He said that all of the injured children were rushed to the Lady Reading Hospital in a private vehicle where the eldest one succumbed to his wounds.
The police said that the family's head is Afghan national, who is a daily wager and can hardly meet his routine expenditures. He is residing in a rented house, which is owned by one Sanab Khan son of Sabat Khan. A police official said that case against unidentified terrorists had been registered and efforts were made to get any clue about the people involved in the heinous crime.
He asked the people to be vigilant and create awareness among their children to avoid picking such things placed in limits of their houses. Meanwhile, unknown militants blew up a Boys Primary School in Sultankhel area in Landi Kotal sub-division of Khyber Agency early on Saturday morning by detonating explosive material planted around the school building.
