Slamming the rumors regarding the postponement of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Edition 3, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has said that the tournament is firmly on track.

PCB chief clarified all the doubts in a tweet saying, “PSL3 is firmly on track. First match in Dubai on Febuary 22 and final in Karachi on March 25. Promo campaign [is] about to kick off.”

Earlier, a few media reports stated that the third edition of the PSL could be in doubt due to five out of the six franchises failing to make required payments to the board, despite the expiry of the given deadline of November 15, 2017.

As per the schedule, the third edition of the league will kick off from February 22. In the opening game of the tournament reigning Champions Peshawar Zalmi will face new franchise Multan Sultans.

With almost a month remaining in the PSL3, franchises have already started their preparations of tournament.
