HCCI president hails Hindu community's support

President Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) Goharullah on Monday expressed gratitude over the support of Hindu trade community in the recently held elections of (HCCI). Addressing a reception hosted by Seth Saman Mal Devani he said that Hindu traders have been given the representation in the HCCI and they wanted to enhance the trade and industrial activities for mutual gains.
He assured the businessmen of Hindu community of their complete support for the community's growth in trade and industry. The HCCI president also demanded of the government to provide adequate security to the businessmen who become targets of extortionists and kidnappers.
He said that he had appealed to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah for funds to develop the industrial areas and expressed hope that work on Hyderabad SITE phase II would begin soon after the legal hitches were removed.
He told the gathering that the chief minister had approved a summary for construction of a bridge on Kotri railway crossing which would ease the flow of traffic between the SITE areas of Latifabad and Kotri.
Earlier, Chairman Tajir Dost Panel and Former President of HCCI Haji Muhammad Yaqoob said resolving problems of the HCCI members and the whole business community was their top priority.
Yaqoob expressed satisfaction over the overall law and order situation in Hyderabad and praised the new SSP Asad Raza Shah's efforts in that regard.
Dewani appreciated the efforts of the HCCI for the business community and its growth. He said that roads of SITE area were in battered condition and needed to be repaired to continue the growth of business.
A number of businessmen including senior vice President HCCI Turab Ali Khwaja, Mehmood Ahmed, Haji Haroon Memon, Ziaud Din, Moez Abbas, Nadeem Siddique, Abdul Sattar Khan, Sayed Yawer Ali Shah and Maqsood Ahmed Khan and many others attended the party.
