The price of gold per tola on Tuesday reduced by Rs 100 to Rs 54,600 after global market posted a decline of $7 an ounce in the precious metal price, traders said. The gold was available for Rs 48,885 per 10 grams, which declined by Rs 85 to Rs 48,000 in a single day of trade. The price of gold in international market was quoted $1598 an ounce, traders said.
