Two-day international moot on Management, business and ethics begins today

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Lahore Campus is organising two-day 3rd SAICON international conference on "Management, business, ethics and economics" from December 28.
This was announced by head of Department of Management Sciences COMSATS Lahore, Dr Ahmad Kaleem, at a press conference here Tuesday. Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr Nadeem-ul-Haq will be the guest of honour while President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Irfan Qaiser Sheikh will be the chief guest of the conference.
Ahmad said that the conference would be beneficial for the development of Pakistan's economy as well as beneficial for the intellectual development and growth of Pakistani universities.
In the current scenario where economic conditions are losing ground and businesses are disintegrating in Pakistan, there is an imperative need of such forums where intellectual and scholarly minds can play their part in elevation of the above mentioned conditions.
He said that more than 120 presenters would present their papers in the conference out of which 30 presenters will be coming from USA, UK, Spain, Turkey and rest of the developed countries. The major highlight besides 30 International presenters is participation of 300 local industrialists, bankers, professionals and management students who would get opportunity through this forum to interact with internationally recognised researchers and academicians. Ahmad said that conference is the outcome of the hard work of Dr Mahmood Ahmed Bodla (Director) and Convenor of the conference Dr Abdul Sattar Abbasi.
