With the approval of Minister Local Government Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, the Secretary Local Government has placed three officers of BS-18 and BS-17 Anwar Ali Baloch BS-17 SCUG Service (Admn. Branch), Maqsood Badaruddin BS-18 SCUG Service (Engineering Branch), and Syed Wali Muhammad Shah BS-17 SCUG Service (Engineering Branch) under suspension for misappropriation of an amount of Rs 113,294,492/- on the basis of inquiry conducted by a senior officer of Local Government Department.
Further disciplinary action will be taken against them as per E&D Rules, besides forwarding the case to Anti-Corruption Establishment/NAB authorities.
