Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein has ruled out any possibility of early polls in the country saying Election Commission of Pakistan was not prepared to hold the mid-term general elections. Talking to reporters on Saturday, Shujaat said: "Resignations by the N-League legislators would not make any difference and the government would remain intact," adding, "It is obligation of administration to hold bye polls against vacant seat."
Answering a question, he said: "We are with army and they too are with us." He also paid tributes to the martyrs of army. To another query, he said the PML-Q became victim of a conspiracy in the last general elections resultantly our candidates had to face defeat.
Moreover, Senior Federal Minister and PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a meeting with a delegation of All Pakistan Pottery Association has stressed the need for resolving problems faced by industry. Elahi said labourers would render jobless, if energy crises were not resolved. He assured the delegation that he would take up problems confronted to Pottery Industry with the Prime Minister and Petroleum Minister for their resolution.
