PML-N President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Saturday vowed to bring revolution in the country for betterment of people by changing the system of governance in transparent manner. Addressing huge rally organised by PML-N here, he said "corruption is now at its highest level in the country. The government keeps on increasing electricity and gas prices but these are not available for the masses and the industry.
"There is darkness in homes, industries and business houses across the country due to acute shortage of electricity and gas. We would not allow enhancement in power and gas tariff," PML-N President stated. Nawaz Sharif declared that no one can cause any harm to Pakistan. "We did not compromise on principles in the past nor would do so now or in future. Pakistan was faced with various challenges, masses were suffering and the government paying no heed to resolve their multifarious problems and difficulties particularly load shedding, price hike, unemployment."
He said his party would on priority after coming into power bring about all-round socio-economic development for the prosperity of the people, raise their standard of living by providing interest free loans and employment. The rally was also addressed by top PML-N leaders including Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Ahsan Iqbal.
