A unique web-site to promote tourism industry and provide information of the worth seeing picturesque beauty of the country has been launched on the eve of New Year. The web-site 'www.great.pk' have unique features and will provide a guideline to the tourism centres and departments and information of registered hotels for the convenience of domestic and international tourists.
The web-site will be a milestone for development of tourism in the country and can provide guidance to tourists that want to explore the natural beauty of Pakistan, said Naveed Baig, owner of the web-site.
"God has blessed Pakistan with rich historical and tourism sites but due to lack of proper information tourism industry has not flourished much". Baig said he is working on the project since 1998 and gathered a lot of information regarding the places of Pakistan and now he has decided to launch the web-site. The web-site also gives the opportunity of sharing pictures, videos and users can also connect with each other through chatting, he added.
