Police foil terror bid in capital

Islamabad police foiled a terror bid by arresting two terrorists in the Federal capital here on Tuesday, sources revealed. The sources said that the CID police carried out a raid in Shakrial area located in the vicinity of Shahzad town police station and rounded up two terrorists who were planning to carry out terrorist activities in the Federal capital. According to the sources Rehmania Masjid was the prime target of the terrorists.
After investigation another terrorist was arrested from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and a suicide jacket was also recovered from him. According to the preliminary reports, the two terrorists, who were identified as Ali Gul and Akabr Ali are involved in various heinous terrorist activities; they have been shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
