Former Chairman, Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA), Haroon Agar has urged the President, Prime Minister and Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to direct the concerned authorities to withdraw the condition of collecting CNIC copy at the time of sale of goods to non-registered persons.
He said that the FBR had made it mandatory to collect CNIC copy at the time of sale of goods to non-registered person, which according to him was impracticable. He said it was giving the impression that FBR wanted the business community to work as its employees. He said that the country was facing enormous economic problems and under these circumstances imposing a condition like this was neither feasible nor practicable.
