Faisal Hayat named member 'Players Status Committee' of FIFA

President Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on Wednesay was chosen as a member of "Players' Status Committee" of Federation Internationale de Football Associations (FIFA) in addition to his continuation as member of Disciplinary Committee of FIFA.
A spokesman of the PFF said here on Wednesday that PFF President had been unique distinction of becoming member of dual Committees of FIFA in South Asian region. "The appointment of Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat is not only a great honour for the Pakistani nation but also the entire football family of Asia, as he has been entrusted with yet another assignment which reflects trust reposed by FIFA in his leadership and recognition of services rendered by the President PFF for the promotion of soccer in Asia," the spokesman said.
The Players Status Committee will monitor with the regulations on the status and transfer of players for various FIFA competitions. Its powers of jurisdiction are governed by the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. It will also be responsible for the work of the Dispute Resolution Chamber in accordance with the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players and the Rules Governing the Procedures of the Players' Status Committee and the Dispute Resolution Chamber.
