Lakhra Coal Mines Project: HCCI concerned over harassment to investors

President of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Goharullah has taken stern notice of the harassment to investors working at Lakhra Coal Mines Project. He showed concern that Sindh Coal Mines Energy stopped work at the project with the help of police. Goharullah said that with this act of secretary coal energy, foreign investment will stop.
He told that in that project Ukraine, Russia and other investors as well as coal investors have invested billions of American dollars in Lakhra Coal Project. He said that investors are busy to generate coal despite lack of transport, water and electricity and paying huge money to provincial and federal governments.
He said that Sindh Board of Investment has appreciated local and foreign investment under the leadership of Syed Qaim Ali Shah. With his efforts investment in the province has enhanced and it will give opportunity to the unemployed people. He said that provincial minister Mines & Mineral Development, Imamuddin Shokeen is rendering great services for prosperous investment.
He said that harassment of Sindh coal energy will not affect government efforts. He appealed CM to give orders to provincial secretary coal energy, Younis Dada to encourage investors and take stern notice of the harassment to investors that it may not happen again in future.
