Registration of cases against LCCI members condemned

The Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has condemned institution of criminal cases against member of Lahore Chamber and business leaders of Punjab, describing it as police aggression against business community. President of MCCI Anis A Sheikh expressed solidarity with the business community of Lahore and said that aggression against business community would not be permitted.
Senator Ghulam Ali, President of FPCCI said that business community would not tolerate any aggression. Else there would be strong protest against it, he added. The businessmen were peacefully demonstrating against gas closure to the industry and demanded immediate withdrawal of the unjustified and baseless FIR against business community leaders of Lahore. He said the government should not attempt to test the patience of business community. He said if any aggression was done in future on Pakistani traders then business community would be on streets for strong protest in Pakistan. He said business community always co-operated with government in critical circumstances.
