African Champions League holders Esperance of Tunisia have brought Swiss Michel Decastel back to the club he coached nine years ago. The club website said he will replace Nabil Maaloul, who quit citing tiredness after leading the Tunis team to the Champions League and a domestic league and cup double before finishing a disappointing sixth in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Decastel left Wydad Casablana of Morocco after taking them to the Champions League final last November against Esperance which was settled by a second-leg goal from Ghana-born Harrison Afful.
