Maqbool's murder case: ASWJ demands booking of Shia Ulema

Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) formerly known as outlawed Sipah Sahaba Pakistan on Thursday demanded to the authorities to book Shia scholars Allama Mirza Yousuf, Hassan Zafar Naqvi and others in Maqbool's murder case.
According to spokesman of ASWJ Maulana Taj Hanfi, they have moved an application in Jamshed Quarter police station, demanding to the authorities to nominate Allama Mirza Yousuf, Hassan Zafar Naqvi and others in murder case of Maqbool-ur-Rehman, who was gunned down in the limits of Jamshed Quarter police station on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the funeral prayers of Maqbool, who was an advocate of Sindh High Court, were offered at Qayyumabad B Area. The funeral prayers were led by elder brother of Maqbool namely Ilyas at Eidgah ground located near Madina Masque and later he was buried in Qayyumbad C Area graveyard. When contacted, SHO Humayun confirmed that the case has so far not been registered while they had received an application from ASWJ. Maqbool-ur-Rehman, 45, son of Ghulam Mustafa was targeted at near Government Islamia College, new M A Jinnah Road when he was on the way to home located in Gulistan Jauhar Block 7 in his car (CP-5198). The victim was the senior lawyer and had been dealing cases and other legal formalities of ASWJ for last 12 years.
