Textile Tigers beat Lahore White by 92 runs in 1ST Lahore Veteran Cricket Champion Trophy here at Ali Garh Cricket Ground on Saturday. Batting first, Textile Tigers scored 263/3 in 30 overs. Muhammad Riaz (100), Rizwan Nisar (65 not out), Romail Bashir (26 not out) and Asif Qureshi (56) were main batsmen.
Saleem Malik 2/47 and Tariq Siddiqui 1/68 were main wicket takers for Lahore White.
In reply, Lahore White were all out at 171 in 26.2 overs. Tariq Siddiqui (53), Shahid Hussain (20), Adnan Anjum (36 not out) and Qadeer Khan (15) were main batsmen of the losers. Romail Bashir (4/26), Azhar Hussain (4/31) and Rehan Rouf (2/35) were wicket takers for Textile Tigers. At the end, Chief Guest Salman Khan gave away man of the match award to Muhammad Riaz.
