'Jamaat-e-Islami to achieve 100 percent literacy rate after coming to power'

Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General, Liaqat Baloch said on Thursday that JI would achieve hundred percent literacy rate within a period of five years after coming to power. He was speaking at a meeting held at Mansoora to review the progress of the Hira Educational Complex on Wednesday.
Baloch said that a uniform educational system would be introduced all over the country under a permanent education policy in conformity with the Pakistan ideology. Urdu would be used as medium of instruction while all the regional and provincial languages would be promoted.
