Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that PTI would provide free seeds, fertilisers and subsidies to the farmers so that the production could be brought at par with India, Aaj News reported.
Addressing a large gathering at Bhalwal he criticised both the leading parties of the country ie Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) (PML-N) and said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has never raised a finger at President Asif Ali Zardari's corruption during his three years' alliance with PPP. Criticising the Prime Minister, Imran said that PM criticises PTI for not having an agenda.
"First of all, Mr prime minister, I would like to tell you that even if we don't have an agenda right now we may announce it soon and it will be better than yours. Even if we fail to deliver against our promises, we will end up doing a better job than you," he said.
PTI chief said there are so many Pakistanis who can run Pakistan Steel, Wapda, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Pakistan Railways and make them profitable organisations only if government makes appointments on merit.
