A spokesman of Punjab government said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a 9-member committee headed by Chairman Chief Minister's Inspection Team Najam Saeed for conducting an inquiry into the PIC incident.
He said that Chief Minister Punjab will personally monitor the probe whereas the committee will submit its report to the Chief Minister within two days after completing the inquiry. It may be added that a number of patients died in Pakistan Institute of Cardiology (PIC) allegedly by reaction of certain medicines.
