Stocks, foreign exchange and commodity markets in China, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Seoul, Singapore and Taipei were closed on Monday due to the Lunar New Year holiday. China and Taiwan markets closed for long Lunar New Year holiday. Taiwan markets are closed from Thursday January 19 for 11 days and re-open on January 30, while Chinese markets are closed this week and will reopen on Monday, January 30. Other markets will resume trading from Tuesday.
