Unknown armed men shot dead three persons here on McConghey Road on Wednesday evening, police said. According to the local police and hospital sources, the armed men who were on a motorbike raked a Toyota Witz with bullets at McConghey road and fled from the scene. As a result, three people travelling in the car died on the spot. Two government officials are among the dead. Motive behind the killing could not be ascertain.
