Altaf condemn lawyers' killing

26 Jan, 2012

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the killing of three lawyers near city courts on Wednesday. Hussain expressed grief and sorrows over the incident. He said that the sudden surge in killing of people belonging to different religious schools of thoughts was a deep-rooted conspiracy.
In a statement issued here he said that two persons belonging to a particular school of thought were targeted a few days ago and now people belonging to other sect were murdered in a brazen act of terrorism. He added that certain elements wanted to destroy the environment of sectarian harmony and brotherhood in the city. He appealed to the Ulema of all the religious schools of thoughts and the public at large to understand and foil the conspiracy to create sectarian tensions.
