Punjab University football team has won the Procter & Gamble (P&G) University Football Challenge by defeating NUCES-FAST by 3-0 goals. Qayyum Furqan of Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology led the team of Punjab University in this event. Teams from 8 universities including LUMS, FAST, LSE, PU, Iqra University, UET, GIKI participated in the event.
HR Manager (P&G) Sheraz awarded prize money of Rs 25,000 and winning shield to the captain of winning team. PU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran, Director Sports Professor Dr Zafar Rasheed and Additional Director Sports Attiya Mumtaz have congratulated the team and the team commandant Mudassar Azam.
